Short answer: Go to the Cancel Kindle Unlimited page on Amazon, sign in and select Cancel membership. You keep access until your next billing date.
Cancel on the website
- Go to Kindle Unlimited in your Amazon account (Amazon's help page has a direct Cancel Kindle Unlimited link) and sign in.
- Select Cancel membership.
Signed up through Google Play?
- Open the Google Play Store app, go to Payments & Subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and cancel there.
What happens after you cancel
- Your membership stays active until the next billing date. After that, you lose access to the books you've borrowed.
- Prepaid memberships (gift or bundle) get no partial refund for unused months.
Before you cancel: save money
- Only need a break? You can pause a monthly membership for 1 month instead (not during a free trial or promotion). It resumes automatically.
