How to Cancel Spectrum
Step by step · checked against the official help page in October 2026

Short answer: Sign in at Spectrum.net to see your cancellation options, or contact Spectrum or visit a Spectrum Store. Return leased equipment afterwards to avoid a fee.
How to cancel
- Sign in to your account at Spectrum.net (as the primary user) to see your cancellation options.
- Or contact Spectrum (spectrum.net/contact-us), or visit a Spectrum Store.
- Mobile lines can be disconnected at any time from your account.
After you cancel: return the equipment
- Return leased modems, routers, receivers and other equipment to any Spectrum Store.
- No store nearby? Equipment can go back through The UPS Store, but contact Spectrum first.
- Equipment that isn't returned can be charged as an unreturned equipment fee.
What happens after you cancel
- You get a final statement at the next billing cycle for any remaining charges.
- Your Spectrum email keeps working for 60 days after Internet is disconnected. Back up contacts and emails before then.
- Voicemail and the Spectrum TV App stop on the disconnect date.
- If you close Spectrum Mobile, the rest of any device payment plan is due on your next statement.
Before you cancel: save money
- Part-time resident? Spectrum's seasonal status puts service on hold for a monthly fee instead of cancelling.
- Keeping mobile but cancelling everything else ends the bundle discount on mobile.
