How to Cancel Xfinity
Step by step · checked against the official help page in October 2026

Short answer: Xfinity cancels by phone (1-800-934-6489), with a scheduled call, or at an Xfinity Store. There is no cancel button online for internet and TV.
How to cancel
- Call Xfinity at 1-800-934-6489, or
- schedule a call on xfinity.com/cancel, or
- visit an Xfinity Store.
Before you call
- Have your account number and service address ready (they're on your bill).
- Leaving Xfinity Mobile? Transfer your phone number to your new carrier first, so you don't lose it.
- Xfinity NOW Internet has its own cancel page (linked on xfinity.com/cancel).
What happens after you cancel
- Write down the date, the agent's name and any confirmation number from the call.
- Check your next bill to make sure the charges stopped.
Before you cancel: save money
- Only want a lower bill or a break? xfinity.com/cancel also explains how to change your plan or put service on a temporary hold (for example during active military duty).
- Moving? Xfinity can move your service instead of cancelling it.
