How to Cancel Audible

Step by step · checked against the official help page in October 2026

Short answer: On the Audible website, open Membership details and choose Cancel membership. Use your credits first: they're lost when the membership ends.

Cancel on the website

  1. Go to audible.com and sign in.
  2. Select your name at the top, then Membership details.
  3. Select Cancel membership, then Confirm cancellation.

On a phone's web browser

  1. Open the main menu, select your name, then Membership details, Cancel membership and Confirm cancellation.

Paying through Apple or Google?

Memberships billed through the App Store or Google Play can't be cancelled on the Audible site. Cancel them in the store.

iPhone or iPad (Apple):

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Android (Google Play):

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the subscription, then Cancel subscription, and follow the steps.
