How to Cancel YouTube Premium

Short answer: Go to youtube.com/paid_memberships, click Manage membership, then Deactivate and Yes, cancel. Billed by Apple or Google Play? Cancel there.

Cancel on the website

1. Go to youtube.com/paid_memberships and sign in.
2. Click Manage membership, then Deactivate.
3. Click Continue to cancel, choose a reason, and click Yes, cancel.

Paying through Apple or Google?

Joined from the YouTube iPhone app? Cancel in your Apple account. Paying through Google Play? Cancel in Google Play.

iPhone or iPad (Apple):

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
3. Tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Android (Google Play):

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
3. Tap the subscription, then Cancel subscription, and follow the steps.

What happens after you cancel

• Your benefits continue until the end of the billing period; you won't be charged again unless you re-subscribe.
• The same steps work for YouTube Music Premium.

Before you cancel: save money

• YouTube also lets you pause the membership, or switch to an annual or family plan, from the same page.
