How to Cancel ChatGPT Plus

Short answer: On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Billing, and select Cancel. If you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app, cancel in the App Store or Google Play.

Cancel on the website

Sign in at chatgpt.com.
Open your account menu and select Settings.
Select Billing, and under Cancel plan, select Cancel.

Paying through Apple or Google?

If you subscribed in the ChatGPT app on iPhone or Android, cancel in the App Store or Google Play.

iPhone or iPad (Apple):

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
Tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Android (Google Play):

Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap the subscription, then Cancel subscription, and follow the steps.

What happens after you cancel

Paid features stay until the end of your current billing period.
Cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid the next charge.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Before you cancel: save money

Subscribed on more than one device? Check the web, the App Store and Google Play so you aren't charged twice.
