How to Cancel Subscriptions on iPhone
Step by step · checked against the official help page in October 2026

Short answer: Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Tap the subscription and Cancel Subscription. This works for Apple subscriptions and apps you pay through the App Store.
Cancel on your iPhone
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription you want to cancel.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red, it's already cancelled.
Can't find the subscription?
- Search your email for "receipt from Apple" or "invoice from Apple" and check which Apple Account was used.
- If it's a family member's Apple Account, they have to cancel it; you can't cancel it for them.
- If it's another Apple Account of yours, sign in with that account and cancel there.
- No receipt from Apple? Then another company bills you. Check your bank or card statement and cancel with that company.
- Got the subscription through your phone company or another provider? Contact them.
What happens after you cancel
- The subscription stops renewing; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Free trial: cancel at least 24 hours before it ends so it doesn't renew.
- The same list covers Apple's own services (Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple One, iCloud+) and apps you pay for through the App Store.
Before you cancel: save money
- Apple also lets you cancel on the web, on a Mac, iPad, Windows PC or Android device; the source page has the steps for each.
- Pay for several Apple services? Apple One bundles some of them; compare its price with what you pay now.
