How to Cancel Grammarly

Step by step · checked against the official help page in October 2026

Short answer: Sign in, open Account, then Your account and Subscription, click Cancel Subscription, Continue, pick a reason and confirm. On a phone, use account.grammarly.com.

Cancel on the website

1. Sign in to Grammarly and click the Account tab in the left sidebar.
2. Click Your account, then Subscription.
3. Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the page, then Continue.
4. Choose a reason and click Cancel Subscription.

Paying through Apple or Google?

Bought it through the App Store? Cancel it with Apple. On a phone browser you can also cancel at account.grammarly.com.

iPhone or iPad (Apple):

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
3. Tap the subscription, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Android (Google Play):

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
3. Tap the subscription, then Cancel subscription, and follow the steps.

What happens after you cancel

• Automatic renewal stops; you keep all paid features until the end of the current period.
• Grammarly gives refunds only where required by law, or if you were charged by mistake.
• Cancelling through Grammarly also applies to the other apps in the Superhuman suite.
